Food Allergies

Food allergies occur when the immune system reacts to certain foods, even in small amounts. Common allergens include peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, and sesame. Symptoms may include hives, swelling, stomach pain, vomiting, coughing, wheezing, or difficulty breathing. Severe reactions, known as anaphylaxis, require immediate medical attention.

Environmental Allergies

Environmental allergies occur when the immune system reacts to substances in the environment such as pollen, mold, dust mites, or pet dander. Symptoms may include sneezing, nasal congestion, runny or itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes, coughing, or throat irritation. These allergies can be seasonal or year-round and may significantly impact daily comfort and quality of life.
